Lamac MPC BOD, BCL & management with Lamac Barangay Council successfully undertaken an educational tour on Solid Waste Management in San Carlos City, Negros Occ. Last March 22 – 23, 2009. The Board of Directors and BCL Chairpersons had their joint meeting in San Carlos City @ Alger’s Community Center but before the meeting they spent 3 hours of enjoyment in the Island Paradise of Sipaway, San Carlos City. They visited the Whispering Palm Resort. The GM and the owner of the resort were very accommodating. It was a very nice place, very much serene. 
A tour on solid waste management follows on the following day. A courtesy call was made with the City Mayor Lacson and Vice Mayor Valmayor and the whole city council. They were all very accommodating especially the City Administrator Mr Francisco Tulcidas and his staff in Tourism and Solid Waste Management Departments. A trip to Eco Park follows after the orientation made by Mr Tolcidas and Engr Sanchez. A very informative tour was made possible thru coordination and cooperation. To the San Carlos City Council and all its staff THANK YOU VERY MUCH for a very warm welcome afforded to us. GOD bless you all. |
